Museum presenting the history of the town along a chronological and illustrated route, and organizing temporary exhibitions.
Housed in one of the town's last remaining timber-framed houses, the museum presents a chronological tour of the town's history, covering its many facets: Gallo-Roman and medieval town; textile town; famous men and women; reconstruction after the bombings; all illustrated by over 300 objects, paintings and photos. At the same time, the museum organizes temporary exhibitions, the latest of which, "Gaudin, l'envers du décor", is of the highest quality.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
Les salles proposent des expositions sur l'histoire de Lisieux, qui, n'est pas une ville très belle, comme elle a dû l'être par le passé.
Je trouve cependant dommage que ce musée soit un peu à l'écart du centre ville.
