Chapelle de la Châsse, place of meditation, housing the relics of Saint Theresa, annexed to the cell of Saint Theresa
Like her sisters, Thérèse entered the Carmelite convent in Lisieux at the age of 15. In the chapel, the shrine depicts the saint on her deathbed. The relics are locked in a casket beneath. While the chapel is a place dedicated to prayer and silence, the Carmelite's cell, the memorial and its museographic tour - revamped with the contribution of the Friends of Saint Therese association - are accessible to pilgrims and visitors alike.
