As the place of the eponymous province Cibitoke is not a large urban centre, reflecting what other important administrative communities in the country can be. The configuration of the city, on both sides of the RN 5, gives it an appearance between the new market that a European programme built in 2005, the old centre where local administration services are concentrated, and the various shops installed along the road.Here we find the health, educational and religious structures of the level of other provincial chiefs (hospital, churches and mosque, high school and schools), and some industrial settlements (cotton, tobacco), but they have suffered from war and insecurity in the region.
