Souk aux cuirs in Marrakech, offering pleasant encounters punctuated by numerous tea tours

This part of the souk was isolated as soon as the city was built, because it is here that the hides arrive from the tanners' district to be worked. Like those in the blacksmiths' souk, the craftsmen who populate the leather souk are not used to receiving visits from tourists. It is therefore a place where communication is easier; meetings are punctuated by rounds of tea, without mercantile spirit. You will see, made before your eyes the bags, copies of European brands or handmade creations, that you will buy later.

A voir mais il faut prévoir de quoi respirer une bonne odeur (mouchoir parfumé ou autre) car l'odeur y très forte, le prix du cuir reste intéressant.

A voir sans vraiment s'attarder. A voir également si vous avez le coeur bien accroché l'endroit où les peaux sont traitées et tannées. On vous offre un bouquet de menthe une fois que vous vous êtes acquité du droit d'entrée. L'odeur est ... puissante et nauséabonde. On plaint les employés qui travaillent dans les cuves... A voir mais rapidement.
