MUSÉE PIERRE BERGÉ DES ARTS BERBÈRES
Museum of Berber arts, housing a personal collection of artists and an exhibition of items related to daily life
Opened in 2011, following the adoption of the Kingdom of Morocco's new constitution, which recognizes the place of Amazigh heritage in Moroccan culture, the Berber Museum presents the personal collection of Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint-Laurent. The exhibition revolves around pieces linked to know-how and domestic life, such as ceremonial utensils, ceremonial clothes and costumes, jewelry... All testifying to the richness of Berber culture, which is still very much alive.
