Museum of contemporary art in Marrakech, with a permanent exhibition and art and tutoring workshops

Abderrazzak Benchaâbane and the team of his Foundation opened this museum of contemporary art in 2011, in a former douar and in the middle of a 2 ha garden. Today it is one of the city's artistic institutions. Here, art and nature are in constant dialogue. Old adobe farm buildings house a permanent exhibition of about fifty contemporary Moroccan artists. Plastic arts workshops and tutoring workshops have also been set up for the most disadvantaged children living in the surrounding douars.
