In front of Koutoubia there is a beautiful residence of the late th century. Today is the residence of the Consul of France. We do not visit it, of course, unless you make an appointment with the consul. Leaving Koutoubia, two possibilities are available to the visitor: take either left, towards the noisy and mysterious place Jemaâ el Fna, or right, towards Piazza Youssef ben Tachfine and the royal palaces.
