A large 15th-century Arabo-Andalusian-style house entirely renovated by a Spanish company, this beautiful riad not far from the Secret Garden is now a friendly hostel where travelers from all horizons mingle. Four- to eight-bed dormitories (mixed or single sex) are available, as well as individual rooms for greater privacy. From the rooftop, a superb view and an ideal setting for sipping a drink or meeting new people. The icing on the cake is a year-round swimming pool and Wi-Fi access.

I get that the water cuts are out of their control but providing us with even just one bottle of complimentary water would have been a salve.
Adding one star because staff is nice and rooms are pretty.
