BELVEDERE AUF DEM PFINGSTBERG
A romantic belvedere with superb views of the surrounding area, offering concerts and theater in summer.
This lookout is also one of the sites in Potsdam and Berlin that are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The building, which resembles an Italian villa, was commissioned by Frederick William IV from the architects L. Persius, L. A. Stüler and L. F. Hesse. As its name suggests, the belvedere offers a superb view of the surrounding area. In summer, this romantic setting is used as a backdrop for concerts and theatre performances.
