Built in the 1920s, this large green area south of the former Tegel airport is quite pleasant. It includes a lake with artificial beaches which are very popular in summer. It's the ideal place to take a dip in the Berlin heat of August, but also for joggers, who can venture into the woods and the courses available to them.
