Berlin's Soh Bejeng Ndikung is an active, cutting-edge cultural venue for non-European art projects.
This "house of world cultures" - known as the Pregnant Oyster(Die Schwangere Auster) - is a convex-shaped convention center donated by the Americans to contribute to Berlin's revival at the 1957 Interbau international architecture exhibition. Today, the HKW is an active, cutting-edge cultural venue, giving priority to non-European art projects under the direction of new curator Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung.
