Monument in the shape of a round fountain inaugurated in 2012 in memory of the 500,000 Sinte and Roma murdered by the Nazis.
This monument was inaugurated in 2012 near the Reichstag to honor the memory of the 500,000 Sinti and Roma murdered by the Nazis. The memorial takes the form of a round fountain; at its center stands a stele on which a flower is laid every day. On the edge of the fountain, a poem by Santino Spinelli entitled Auschwitz. On the ground, plaques indicate the names of the various genocide sites. The whole was designed by Israeli architect Dani Karavan.
