Wendel is a bit of a landmark for everyone in Kreuzberg. A late afternoon coffee, a break before the Badeschiff (the Arena's outdoor pool), a drink before hitting the clubs in the neighborhood. Spaced out, very relaxed, vintage decor. And everyone loves it for other reasons: the draught beers are the best, the jazz concerts very popular. In short, a must on any trip to Kreuzberg. In summer, the bar overflows its small terrace onto the leafy sidewalk, which is very charming and the atmosphere is ideal.
