The sole survivor of the old punk hangouts on Kastanienallee, the Morgenrot is nestled next to a leafy squat. The place is the brainchild of a collective who wanted to create an alternative space for political, cultural and friendly dialogue. From now on, service is provided at the bar at very reasonable prices, and the place offers free wireless Internet access as well as a wide range of newspapers, exhibitions and concerts. Its famous vegetarian and vegan Frühstücksbuffet (brunch) can be enjoyed from 11 a.m. Friday to Sunday.
