Housed in the Kulturbrauerei complex, this superb concert hall has been welcoming German and international artists in large numbers since 2002. Look out for French-speaking artists too. It's also the venue for music festivals. The adjoining Maschinenhaus concert hall is smaller, but also hosts interesting bands at low prices. It's a great opportunity to make interesting musical discoveries and broaden your musical culture. In addition to concerts, the Kesselhaus sometimes hosts improvisation shows or 90s evenings.
