Here, since time immemorial (at least before the big clubs that made Berlin's reputation), the Golden Gate has been an unmissable alternative venue in Mitte. Outside on the terrace, inside it's a good sound system for cutting-edge minimal. A small dance floor, a chilling room next door, cheap drinks. In short, a concentrate of real Berlin. It's an unusual place, under the S-Bahn.
