Thermal fountains symbolizing the city, one of which stands out for its Art Nouveau style and its three bronze herons.

In Baden-Baden, the thermal fountains are the symbol of the city, even beyond its borders! The Thermalbrunnen in the gardens of the Steigenberger Badischer Hof and the Reiherbrunnen, the famous heron fountain, in Sofienstrasse are two examples. The latter is distinguished by its Art Nouveau style and is surmounted by three bronze herons, one of which has its wings spread and hot thermal water flowing from its beak.
