COTTAHAUS - HOME OF THE GOETHE PUBLISHER

To prove that students have humor (sometimes a bit heavy, certainly)! A plaque commemorates the 4-day visit of Goethe to Tübingen on his publisher's house: " Here lived Goethe, 7-11 September 1797. But Goethe found the city boring and ugly. To get revenge, a second commemorative plaque appeared on the walls of the left house, some twenty years ago: " Here spews Goethe " (yesterday Kotzte Goethe).
