CHÂTEAU EBERBACH

Eberbach Castle is actually the ruins of three castles located above the town on a mountain spur. It can be reached by a very pleasant hiking trail from the city center (about 45 minutes). The building probably dates back to the 12th century and was separated a century later. The site was abandoned in the fifteenth century to be today only romantic remains of a glorious past. The surrounding wooded environment is pleasant and the view is worth a look. You can admire the city below and the Neckar valley.
