A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Imperial Palace, built between 1039 and 1056, stands out on its mound. The monument was restored in the second half of the 19th century. According to specialists, it is one of the most beautiful medieval secular buildings in Germany. The 12th century Saint-Ulrich chapel houses the tomb of Henri III. If you do not speak German, take an audioguide, the explanations are in German only. The Imperial Hall is sumptuous.

Un peu en dehors du centre ce bâtiment très imposant au sommet d une grande pelouse est intéressant à visiter surtout pour les tableaux exposés qui permettent de mieux connaître l histoire de ce land.
