Located on the Beauregard estate, Ornavik is a historical park, a veritable experimental and educational archaeology site where enthusiasts build, forge, weave and cultivate using techniques and materials from the 10th and 11th centuries. Un saut dans le temps incroyable ! Deux époques presque inconnues qui sont ici richement détaillées, en immersion, avec des bénévoles passionnés et disponibles. Nous avons adoré ! Nous recommandons vivement, pour tous les âges ! Nous reviendrons !!

Visite instructive et très originale. Le village viking sort très progressivement de terre sous l'impulsion de bénévoles très impliqués. Le projet conserve à ce jour sa grande fraîcheur.
Et on peut manger sur place de délicieuses crêpes pour un tarif raisonnable.
