Located on the Beauregard estate, Ornavik is a historical park, a veritable experimental and educational archaeology site where enthusiasts build, forge, weave and cultivate using techniques and materials from the 10th and 11th centuries. Belle expérience sur ce parc sans prétention mais super bien animé par un bon nombre de personnes costumés.
Si vous faites l'effort de rentrer dans le concept vous passerez à coup sûr une belle journée.

Merci pour ce voyage dans le temps ! Nous avons appris beaucoup de choses sur ces deux époques . Bravo aux bénévoles pour le site et les installations. Nous reviendrons dans quelques années voir les nouvelles constructions !

Super visite pour le deuxième fois en 4 ans ,un autre monde vraiment ,tous les gens qui travaillent ou bénévoles sur ce site sont super .hâte de revoir voir la motte castrale quand elle sera fini ????

Turned up at 12, no tour until 2pm, no other options, no translation or tours in English at all. Left to go elsewhere. Very disappointed as huge fans of vikings living in Northumbria UK.
