For a trip back in time, in the year 911, the date of the birth of Normandy.

Rendezvous with our ancestors, the Northmen, from whom Normandy takes its name. Ornavik is a lively, animated historical park. The journey back in time plunges you into the year 911, the birthplace of this region. On this experimental archaeology site, enthusiastic volunteers build, forge, weave and farm using techniques and materials from the 10th and 11th centuries. Discover what a medieval village looked like, as the park evolves from year to year. Several tours: guided, immersive; and several highlights.

Curieux de savoir ce que cache ce nom nous allons passer notre dimanche après midi sur le site... Et n avons pas vu le temps passer, l accueil est chaleureux, les gens passionnés transmettent leur connaissance des vikings et des carolingiens... Hâte de. Découvrir le chantier terminé dans quelques années. Familial... Allez y votre entrée aide le chantier à avancer... ????
