Founded in 1947 by Jack Starr, a local entrepreneur, the place was intended to be a roast beef restaurant with occasional shows, hence the name. Over the years, the Horseshoe Tavern has become a legendary show bar, featuring rock and folk music. As you enter, you are greeted by a long wooden bar with everything you need to quench your thirst. At the back of the hall, the small stage with a space for those who want to wiggle their hips. A must-see address in Toronto!
