We experienced a few administrative hiccups during our stay but the management was very eager to correct and help. Very attentive and kind staff when it comes to problem solving. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

If you are driving to ICTC HOTEL you will pass the Hotel driving east on front st. and turn right on lower Simcoe st. And then the next right will take you to their valet parking where you have the option to valet for $55 with all day in/out or self park for $35 with no in/out. If taking a ride to the HOTEL there are revolving doors on Front st. about 100 yards west of lower Simcoe st.

I stayed for about three weeks at the Intercontinental Centre Toronto up to end of March. I wasn’t going to post this, but I am having another long stay now at the Sheraton, and the drastic difference warrants a warning to anyone looking at Intercontinental.

First of all, the rooms are 400-500 per night. This was all prepaid by the company. I got there after 17 hrs of travel at around 2100. The concierge asked me to pay a security deposit of 125CAD which I obliged. He failed to mention that they were going to take 125 CAD for five nights due to the long stay, so for 3 weeks I had 625CAD blocked off my card.

The water in the shower took ages to get hot, and not the level I expect from a hotel that charges as much as they do. The reception staff were consistently rude to me when I asked anything. On top of all that, they charge a 28.5 cad amenity fee. It’s a joke.

The breakfast was good and the staff there were super nice, but for that little I really think they need to do better.

I will avoid the hotel like plague. The sheraton were actually acknowledging that I am staying long and they upgraded my room upon check in, no additional amenity fees and the staff is super lovely, not responding in a snarky manner as if they’re doing me a favour to be talking to me in the first place. They also only charge 100 CAD as the entire security deposit, despite the long stay.
