One of Toronto's newest hidden bars. And you don't have to recite the Hail Mary to set foot in it.

The name of this hidden bar does not come from nowhere. You first have to enter a tiny store selling a few religious items - hence the name of the place - before getting in. The offspring of the team behind Pinkerton's and Poor Romeo's, this speakeasy is one of those trendy addresses you have to discover. Several religious artifacts are scattered here and there, including the shrine lamps and the church pew on the small stage that occasionally hosts shows. Enjoy one of the Amaro-based cocktails.
