THE SENATOR
Opened in a building dating from the late 19th century, it is the oldest restaurant in Toronto still in operation. It is one of those addresses that everyone in the city knows, without ever having set foot there. A sort of forgotten legend. The atmosphere is nevertheless quite particular and deserves a stopover. The menu has been completely redesigned and now offers bistro-style dishes such as ratatouille, butcher's cut, fish of the day and blue cheese burger. On weekends, its succulent brunch attracts crowds.
