VAUREAL WATERFALL AND CANYON

This impressive 90-metre deep canyon was carved into the limestone by the Vauréal River, 9 kilometres from its mouth. The trail - it takes about an hour's walk - which follows the bed of a stream down into the canyon, then leads to the foot of the waterfall falling from the top of a 76-metre wall. We will admire the grey limestone cliffs streaked with red and green schist. An ideal place for a swim in the crystal clear waters of the waterfall basin or for a picnic.
