A remarkable museum offering various exhibitions and workshops on current, historical and unusual subjects in Quebec City.

The building (1988) was designed by the famous architect Moshe Safdie. Inside, the museum offers superb exhibits and workshops on current, historical and sometimes unusual subjects. The permanent exhibition "It's Our Story" is a must-see, showcasing the culture, diversity and aspirations of Quebec's First Nations and Inuit. Also take a look at the temporary exhibition calendar. Restaurant (Espace saveurs par Nollen) and boutique (in the vaulted cellars of Maison Estèbe) on site.

Très beau musée. L'architecture est superbe. Les expositions sont très bien faites. Nous avons beaucoup aimé celle qui relate l'histoire du Québec, bien utile pour ceux qui, comme nous Français, la connaissons si mal. Celle sur l’Égypte est bien faite. Comme dans tous les grands musées, il faut beaucoup de temps pour tout voir.
