RIVER-MOUNTAIN WALK

Linking the river to Mount Royal, this new 3.8 km walk is one of Montreal's 375th anniversary legacies. Punctuated by works of art, it features a wide range of iconic streets and public squares and touches on themes as varied as culture, heritage, architecture, art and history. To help you find your way around, visual cues in the shape of a triangle are affixed to the streetlights throughout the route. Public plots have also been set up at each end of the parkway: facing Place Royale in Old Montréal and the Peel entrance to Mount Royal Park in downtown Montréal.
