Superb hotel with classical accents, not far from St. Catherine Street, with a restaurant with quality services.
Very central and not far from Sainte-Catherine Street, this superb hotel with classical accents and refined decoration has bet on the personalization of your stay. Le St-Martin offers traditional rooms, luxurious suites and some themed rooms. Of course, the hotel offers all the services you would expect from a hotel of this level, including a restaurant offering the standard of quality cuisine you would expect from an establishment of this kind.

Overall a positive experience but being on the expensive side I would have expected the pool to be fixed promptly instead of taking weeks.
Le St. Martin hotel shows on their webpage that their lounge and restaurant are temporarily closed. There is NO MENTION the pool is closed. Why not alert people? We were there March 22 to 24. We called today out of curiosity and the recorded message mentioned to enjoy the lovely pool but when we asked we were told the pool was closed. We asked how long it's been down and were told 5 days. That is a lie because we were there 8 days ago and it was closed. We asked if it would be open soon and they had no idea. I would not trust this place as far as I could throw it.
Also, it feels like you are in a store while staying in the room because there's a price list for everything. Bedding, alarm clock, blow dryer etc. Definitely very low class. The view was of a building across the street. If you stay at The Bonaventure you will most likely have a stunning view. We have never had a bad view there!
I am so thankful for using booking dot com who gave us a little back for our inconvenience. Very kind of them! I'm not sure if the travel site gave us the money back or negotiated it from the hotel but because of the travel site we got some back. It was not their fault the hotel never told them the pool was down. Still on all of the travel sites the first thing you see is the pool. The hotel should take the pool photo down when the pool is closed.
