Erected on a rocky spur in the Xᵉ century and fortified by William the Conqueror and then by Henry I Beauclerc, his last son, Falaise Castle is an imposing sight, with its keeps and rampart flanked by fifteen towers. A strategic site from William the Conqueror's first feat of arms to Richard the Lionheart and John Lackland, it was occupied by the English during the Hundred Years' War. Guided tour available.

Très très intéressant n'hésitez pas à prendre la visite guidée. Personnel à l'écoute et très aimable. Manque qq bancs. Vraiment très intéressant.
