Built on the banks of the Malbaie River in 1882, the Cauchon forge and joinery has been a listed historic monument since 1983. It reveals over 140 years of blacksmithing and carpentry history, and houses a collection of 200 handcrafted tools. A blacksmith works here every day, and guides are on hand for guided and interpretive tours. If you feel like it, you can buy forged pieces on site.
