Just before Alma, Route 915 leads to a large pebbled cove enclosed by a rocky peninsula that juts out into the bay before reaching the summit of Cap Enragé. It is an impressive rocky promontory bordered by cliffs struck and sculpted by the force of winds and storms. It is here that the spectacular tides end their crazy course, hence the name Cap Enragé. A lighthouse built in 1838 dominates the landscape of hills, lakes and marshes protected in part by the Mary's Point Bird Sanctuary. From the lighthouse lookout, there is a breathtaking view of the Bay of Fundy, with Nova Scotia just across the way.
