These 28-metre high "obelisks" are two new landmarks for sailors and landlubbers alike.
The much-discussed project aims to link the nearby city center with the sea. Rising to a height of 28 m, these "obelisks", due to come out of the ground in 2020, are two new landmarks for sailors and landlubbers alike. The public can climb to the top of one of the towers, on the Quai de l'Impératrice-Eugénie side, to enjoy a unique view of the estuary. It takes 155 steps to reach the top, or you can take the elevator.
