55 kilometers southwest of Bikaner, on the road to Jaisalmer. This small pilgrimage town is certainly not as spectacular as Pushkar, but its lake attracts many pilgrims, especially at the time of the full moon of Kartik, in November or December of each year. This quiet and dusty town comes alive and many pilgrims from all over the region come in procession to wash their sins in the waters of the lake. It is then difficult, if not impossible, to find lodging on the spot and it is better to make a one-day trip from Bikaner, especially since the small city has a railway station.
