Travel Guide Taddert

Not much to report in this small village, where we see more sheep and shepherds than tourists. A large parking lot marks the stopping place of most of the big taxis that make the trip between Ouarzazate and Marrakech. After Taddert, the road climbs into the mountains, revealing high cliffs and deep ravines. The valley of the oued Rdat disappears to give way to an arid and stony landscape. Just before arriving at the top of the pass, one can see the telebenne which transported the manganese extracted from the mines of Imini, located in the valley, a little further south, and thus avoided the inconvenience of the pass, blocked during the winter.
