In eastern Caen, in the "leavening sun", Pain Vivant is making its mark on the bread-making landscape. Here, Diego passionately blends boldness and tradition. Boldness, in his determination to work almost exclusively with short-distance suppliers, and in his choice of long fermentation. Tradition, for his wood-fired oven and his own mill, but also for the use of home-made natural sourdough. Our breads, brioches and viennoiseries have a taste for authenticity. Don’t miss the vanilla flan or the New York rolls!

On aime le pain au levain évidemment… le meilleur pain du monde.
On aime aussi leur viennoiserie tellement croustillante, on voudrait pouvoir manger 10 croissants à suite…
Mais on aime aussi la belle offre salé qui change régulièrement mais la focaccia est toujours délicieuse ! Mon spot préféré pour prendre mes sandwichs avant une aventure avec le train.
Mais la star selon moi, c’est le flan à la vanille, tellement crémeux ! On y retourne rien que pour ça
