La colline aux Oiseaux is a site near the Caen Memorial that delights visitors of all ages.
Not far from the Memorial, the 17-hectare Colline aux Oiseaux was created for the 50th anniversary of D-Day. Since then, the Colline aux Oiseaux floral park has been given a facelift. An all-inclusive playground, an exciting tree-climbing course and animal enclosures (chickens, sheep, goats). The ideal place to stroll, admire the view over Caen, enjoy the scent of the rose garden, or enjoy a snack next to the new merry-go-round in this verdant park. And to think that these premises were built on a former waste disposal site!
