AU FÛT ET À MESURE

At the Drum and Measure, it is you, bartender! The concept is quite simple: with a credit card of the amount of your choice, you can use it directly at the different beer taps on the tables. You may find the concept somewhat quirky or even gimmicky - or a little challenging if you’re not comfortable with the gesture - but it has the merit of allowing you to manage your consumption. It also encourages social interaction: talk to your neighbours if the beer you want is not on your table, for example. As for the choices available, you are served: Faro, Charrue, Maredsous, and beers of the moment, offering a wide range of brews from our northern compatriots (including our Belgian neighbours). If you’re not much of a beer drinker, don’t panic, as a wide selection of homemade cocktails is also offered. The venue is rather pleasant, with a large room featuring high tables and stools in an industrial style with wooden furniture. There is also a second room with a different ambiance, offering sofas and low tables. For sports enthusiasts, many games are broadcasted. Rest assured, you can also go the traditional route and order directly at the bar, because yes, there is one. But let’s admit that it’s less fun!
