A project, passionate people and a nice walk some days this summer. That's what Ornavik is.

An experimental archaeological workcamp, certainly, but which makes us discover, little by little, and this really, the great stages of the culture of the Vikings to the Normans. Volunteers in suits (we really had the impression that they came straight from a history book). A site just a stone's throw from Caen, and which has brought us hundreds of years back in time
