CAFE GABRIADZE

A meeting point for artists and the theatre world of Georgia and the rest of the world, this café is a real institution. Run by the chief artist and owner of the adjoining puppet theatre, Rézo Gabriadzé, it is located opposite the church of Antchiskhati. Its design was elaborated by the artist's creations: collages, sculptures, restyling of antique furniture, paintings, all in a rare inventiveness. One can enjoy very good small dishes or have a drink there in a cosy atmosphere. A really charming setting and a very good address.
