Palmetto Point is located just off Governors Harbour and includes two small communities, North and South Palmetto Point. Although it lacks the history of its northern neighbor, Palmetto Point - or "The Point" - has become a vibrant island community in recent years. The traveler will find valuable services here, friendly people, a few hotels, beachfront rentals, and the feeling of being home with family. The beach is beautiful, narrow and shaded by pine trees. Celebrities from all over the world frequent this area because of its charm and relative seclusion, making it easier to go incognito than Harbour Island.
