Workshop and association promoting the heritage of Bayeux bobbin lace, with floral and architectural motifs
Since 1988, this association has been promoting the Bayeux lacemaking heritage of the Lefébure factory. Bayeux lace (bobbin lace) features floral decorations and architectural motifs drawn from classical ornamentation (pearls, gadroons, foliage, shells, basins, etc.), with an emphasis on figurative designs. The lacemakers have worked for some of France's leading couturiers, including Balmain, Dior and Hermès, and pass on their skills from this workshop-boutique.
