Discover the Bayeux Museum of Art and History, with its rich collections of lace, porcelain and paintings
"Culture to the rhythm of magnificent pieces". The MAHB has become a benchmark museum in the prestigious setting of Bayeux's former episcopal palace. Its scenography is divided into 14 stages, from prehistory to the 20th century. Among the 5,000 objects in the collection, discover 1,000 pieces of Bayeux porcelain and lace, Impressionist paintings by Caillebotte and Fauvist portraits by Van Dongen, as well as the bishops' salon and the Renaissance chapel.

Le musée est très grand et intéressant la partie du bas est sur l'histoire et l'étage est sur l'art. L'établissement est adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite: rampe d'accès, ascenseur... . Le personnel est très charmant et accueillant. Pour finir le musée a été rénové il n'y a pas longtemps de ce fait il est assez ludique.
Le parcours de visite est particulièrement bien pensé.
