In the heart of Liberty Alley, this memorial museum offers a vibrant immersion in the Battle of Normandy. From June 7 to August 29, 1944, two million men battled it out in Normandy for 77 days, during which the fate of Europe was decided. One by one, each military operation is described and illustrated with period uniforms and weapons. A must-see before visiting the military cemetery next door, and before heading out to the D-Day beaches!

Rude gentleman at reception. Closes at 5:45, not 6:00pm as stated on brochure from Tapestry museum. Only three showings of movie per day (in English). Would be great to have the French version with English subtitles so you don’t have to wait so long for a showing.
