LOGIS LES REMPARTS
House with a cider cellar offering a view of the green space Charles de Gaulle.
The best thing about Logis les Remparts is that you don’t have to drive for miles to get supplied in AOC Calvados, buttered ciders, and organic apple juice…. Maison Lecornu, an enticing cider cellar, is located just on the ground floor of the house. And what a house! From medieval times, remodeled in the 18th century, Christèle and François’s residence offer you a journey back in time of visible stones, canvas, and canopy beds (the room Bajocasse is a real princess’s room!). The view over the green Place Charles-de-Gaulle, framed by its beautiful private mansions, adds to the romanticism of the setting. As for the breakfast room, it is the back shop of the cider cellar, whose medieval atmosphere may bewitch you... To satisfy the most demanding palates, Christèle, as a perfect hostess, serves at breakfast her apple juices and her jellies (also apples) flavoured with raspberry syrup, Calvados or cinnamon. As we savour them blissfully, we regret that it is not also the time for an aperitif to enjoy the famous Norman aperitif made by Lecornu!

C'est vraiment un endroit plein de poésie où on est tranquille et proche de tout a Bayeux. La cerise sur le gateau : vu qu'ils sont producteurs, on peut acheter leur propre cidre et produits de pomme.
