Small museum in the tourist office with beautiful pieces from the Roman and pre-Roman era in Chaves.
This tiny museum is housed in the tourist office, itself located in the beautiful Plaça Camões (behind which is the castle!) On the first floor: beautiful pieces from Roman and pre-Roman times are on display; you won't want to miss the more or less well-preserved stelae; signs show the archaeological points of the region and the locations of the many castles. Take the opportunity to ask the staff any questions you may have about Chaves and the surrounding area.

Un petit musée mais très intéressant, avec des pièces archéologiques de l'époque romaine et une exposition de peinture, plutôt moderne, à l'étage. L'entrée y est gratuite et le personnel est à l'écoute de vos questions sur le musée ou la région. Le musée se trouve dans la belle place Camoes.
