Located in an old wine cellar, it is certainly the most touristy restaurant in Chaves, but it is also the most typical, with its barrels, large tables, stools and bird cages! Regional cooked meats(presunto, salpicão, chouriço, alheira), meats(costeleta, bife), fishes (cod, eels) and home made desserts, washed down with good regional wines of Valpaços (white and red). The Portugal of yesteryear with reasonable prices and an excellent welcome.

The terrace under the vines is splendid, and it won the medal. Inside, there is a popular and family atmosphere that is familiar to the tiles, a regional kitchen that is well prepared and very inexpensive. Few fish. There is a good atmosphere.
