In the undergrowth, the campsite has an exceptional location (on Mount Penha) despite its rather rudimentary facilities. The grounds have a pleasant swimming pool, perfect for cooling off on hot days. Be careful, the road to get there is a little winding but once you arrive you will be in an exceptional setting for a stay of one or more nights. Very good for visiting the area if you only want to camp. The campsite is not far from the cable car that runs to the city. Welcoming and always available staff.
